    Mkris SEO Tools is operated by Matti Ljungberg. You can reach me at LinkedIn. The website is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for data storage.

    2. What data we collect

    We collect the following data depending on how you use the site:

    • GEO Audit tool: The URL you submit, company name (extracted automatically), and the overall audit score. This data is stored to track tool usage.
    • Newsletter signup: Your email address, stored to send you updates about new tools, whitepapers, and case studies. You can unsubscribe at any time.
    • Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics which collects anonymous, aggregated page view data. No cookies are used for analytics, and no personal data is collected.

    3. How we use your data

    • Audit data is used to improve the GEO Audit tool and understand general usage patterns.
    • Email addresses are used to send newsletters you opted in to. Your email address may also be shared with Cernel.com for marketing communications related to SEO and AI services.
    • We do not sell or transfer your personal data to other third parties for marketing purposes.

    4. Third-party services

    We use the following third-party services to operate the site:

    • Vercel — hosting and edge functions (US/EU)
    • Supabase — database for audit runs and newsletter signups (EU)
    • Google Gemini API — AI analysis of product pages (data is processed but not stored by Google)
    • Firecrawl — web scraping for the AEO audit (URLs only, no personal data)

    5. Cookies

    We use minimal cookies. A localStorage flag is set when you dismiss the newsletter popup to avoid showing it again. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

    6. Your rights (GDPR)

    Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

    • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
    • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
    • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
    • Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
    • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.

    7. Data retention

    Audit data is retained indefinitely for analytics purposes but contains no personal information. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe, after which they are deleted within 30 days.
